Work Experience Training — WET
Support for customers gaining exposure to real workplace expectations, routines, stamina, communication, and task performance.
Job Skills Training — JST

Before services begin, Stella Kidd works to confirm that the service, authorization, referral information, and customer goals are understood. This helps ensure the service starts with clarity and stays aligned with the customer’s employment plan.TWC’s VR process includes referral, application, eligibility, Individualized Plan for Employment, service provision, and exit, and the IPE identifies the services needed to support the customer’s employment goal.
For smooth service coordination, include:
Customer name and contact information
Authorized service type
Service authorization details
Employment goal or service objective
Worksite information, if applicable
Known accommodations or support considerations
Counselor contact information
Any relevant referral notes or restrictions
Stella Kidd respects customer choice, confidentiality, and the role of the VR counselor in the rehabilitation process. We do not represent ourselves as TWC employees or guarantee service authorization. Our role is to provide professional employment support when selected and authorized to serve the customer.
TWC’s Standards for Providers note that providers should not imply they are employed by TWC, guarantee funding, or present themselves as an agent of TWC-VR; the same section also explains that eligibility, services, and provider choice are determined through the VR process and informed choice.
